sick day.

So last year I worked at a pre-school and as a part time nanny. I think I called into work sick...maybe twice at the most. ALL year long. This year I am working at the pre-school again and at the daycare. I have called in sick THREE times in three months. the first two time with fevers....and today with the lovely flu bug that has been gracefully making its way through the daycare staff. Sick days are one of those things you can love and hate. I mean I have really loved watching buffy and snuggling with my dog....but the whole being sick....yeah that part not so much fun.

After my last post I did a little research and I think it safe to say that the Tswift song "better than revenge" is most likely about Camilla Belle. Camilla and Joe Jonas dated only moments after Taylor and Joe dated....mystery solved....and yes, you are welcome. I know you wanted to know about that.

In other news....every celeb under the sun has decided to get engaged. After the Leanne Rimes engagement scare (yikes) it turns out her ex husband Dean Sheremet is actually the one getting engaged. Odd coincidence. Then last week Nick Lachey finally proposed to Vanessa Minnillo after 4 years of dating. When Jessica Simpson finally commented to Ryan Seacrest about the engagement it seemed pretty legit... Come to find out Miss Simpson and her football playing bf Eric Johnson are engaged themselves...interesting. All I have to say is there is still time for a Nick and Jess reunion. Come on!

Taylor Swift {speak now}

Taylor Swifts new album Speak Now is way better than expected. Taylor's voice sounds WAY better than on previous records....which leads me to believe she either got singing lessons or they did a lot to her voice in the studio. Either way....LOVE IT. The album has 14 tracks and they are all pretty good. the most talked about being 'Dear John' and lets just say it is DEFINITELY about john mayer...the song 'better than revenge' has the line "she's and actress, she's better known for the things that she does on the mattress..." makes you curious about who that songs is written about...my two favorites on the album would have to be 'back to december' (it has Taylor Lautner written all over it) and 'Last Kiss.' Both songs perfectly describe something every girl feels at one time or another...

definitely worth my 12 bucks. definitely.

1. it's finally cold enough to wear my uggs. and so I did.

2. the guys played two hard games of flag football...and I got involved enough to yell at the ref.

3. took Gidget to the vet...and she is getting quite curvy. 8 pounds to be exact.

4. visited Devan at school...LOVE her kids.

5. went bowling....yeah that went well.

6. attempted (with Gabe's assistance) to cut Gidget's hair.

7. Caught up on Teen Mom and The Challenge

8. Did laundry.

9. Did Yoga: for aches and pains...and Yes, I know I sound like I'm 50.

10. Read up on the NC governor...and for those of you that don't know, her name is Bev.
