oh my!

So yesterday I did something I have been thinking of doing for a while now...I became a Mary Kay consultant. Crazy, I know. I grew up using Mary Kay because it was the safest products out there for your skin. As technology has progressed so has Mary Kay and its products. Needless to say, I LOVE the products. The mineral foundation is better then bare minerals and its half the price! The products being carried now are just what the drug store brands are producing...same price...but better quality! I can hook you up with some sweet Mary Kay stuff, so get excited!

Devan and Paul

On september 6, 2009 my sister got engaged and it was so happy! however with teaching 30 second graders and working toward her national board certification it is safe to say the wedding plans didn't get rolling right away...as the June 18th wedding date approached, my sister, her fiancé and I were working hard to pull it together! When the week of the wedding approached we were mostly prepared! with the help of aunts and cousins and a few bridesmaids we got the final details nailed down. We spent the days before the wedding tying bows on cracker jack boxes, making chocolate covered pretzels and printing and tying bows on programs...throw in a bachelorette party and that was our week! My aunt is a wedding planner as well, so she took over rehearsal and ceremony coordination so I was free to do my thing as the matron of honor! However I did spend the reception as the go between with the dj and the photographers ( the beautiful mess check them out!) all in all a stressful but wonderful week!

Congrats Dev and Paul!

Tracy and Christine

This past april I had the opportunity to put some of my skills to work! I spend the weekend in Asheville, NC coordinating Christine and Tracy's outdoor nuptials. It was a crazy weekend, but my sister, my brother-in-law, my husband and I pulled it off! My responsibilities included coordinating the rehearsal and the ceremony, picking up rentals, setting up and decorating the reception hall, and spending the day as the go between the bride and all her vendors. It was busy and hectic but we made it work!!

Congrats to Tracy and Christine!!!
